Update for B.B.P (Breezy Birthday Project)

Hey everyone:

I wanted to thank everyone that has responded to doing the project and have agreed to do so. Me and Briana really appreciate it a lot and thank everyone who have been trying to get everyone to do it. We thank y’all so much and truly appreciate it.

The deadline will be here soon for anyone who wants to be a part of the video and we need submissions in as soon as possible! So, if you have already done a submission and you want to submit it in now, that would be perfect. We really need submissions so we can start getting to work on the video. The better we get them in as soon as possible, the better.

If you would rather wait until April 21st (deadline for ALL submissions), that is fine as well. But, if you need time, the EXTENDED DEADLINE is April 30th. And all submissions for videos need to be sent to either me or Briana or @GorchessQueen BY April 21st at 12 AM so if you are up at 3 AM in New York or 12 PM in Australia wanting to submit those deadlines, please do so. Again if you want to submit them early, we will take early submissions and look at them to make sure there is sound and that it is you in the video.

ALSO,

your twitter name will be added to the video so if you send in your submission, PLEASE SEND IN YOUR TWITTER NAME TOO. We cannot have submissions and we don’t know who the fuck’s video/visual art it is (excuse my language btw). So, get those in and if you have any comments, questions, early submissions, hit us up on Twitter or send us an email at:

jasmincalloway@yahoo.com

OR

chrsbrwnzbabe@aol.com

EVERY SUBMISSION will be put into the video, so if your video/visual art is in the video, it is coming from YOU.

We really want a lot of people from Team Breezy to get involved with this project, so please help us out by sending it in now or by April 21st or April 30th.

XO,

Jasmin (@ThatLADoll)

Fabolous ft. Chris Brown “Ready” Directed by TAJ

This video took a few turns while I was making it. For a few weeks, we were going back and forth about what city we should shoot in. I’d been talking to Fab, weighing the pros and cons of our choices and before we both knew it, we’d reached our last day to decide.

I called Fab and told him my final thoughts, but of course, left up to him to decide. When he called me back, the first 45 seconds of the conversation led me to believe he wanted to stay in the states.  Then the conversation took a drastic turn when he started talking about his heritage and how much it meant to him.

How can you not respect that? How can you not appreciate that?

I flew to DR the next night on a red eye. I was exhausted.  I’d just come off two other jobs and thought I had a hunch we were staying in the states. When I arrived, the heat made me snap out of work mode and into more of relaxed vacation mode.

Everyone was smiling.

My driver and I talked all the way to the resort. I couldn’t understand a word he was saying, but when he laughed, I laughed. I enjoyed talking to him. He had a photo of his children taped on his dash and a wedding band on that looked to be embedded on his finger forever. True happiness.

We rode through neighborhoods with all dirt roads, homes made of anything durable, and sections of the city filled with children having a good time with minimal resources. True happiness.

When I finally arrived at the resort, I was escorted to my suite where I noticed nothing had a price tag on it. NOTHING. It was they’re way of saying, “Thank you”.

Wow. We should’ve been thanking them. That 30 minute ride changed me…again. It served as a reminder that happiness is a choice.

Oh, and about the video…

I love my job.

Great cast. Great crew. Great God…as usual.  Extended version coming soon.
